Growing in Faith: The Diakonia Program is a 40+ year old ministry within the ELCA committed to fostering learning environments for followers of Jesus to grow in faith. In the fall of 2022, the program was reimagined, taking the best of the existing program, adding new elements and more flexibility with a Foundation Year and optional subsequent Practical Year tracks. I encourage you to personally invite two or more members of your congregation who are yearning to grow in their Christian discipleship to enroll in the fall Foundation Year Courses. The Diakonia Program accepts people where they are in their faith understanding and to challenges them to grow to a deeper level and assists in equipping them to live out their faith in family, workplace, school, local community, and world.
